We are currently seeking experienced Engineers, Architects, Surveyors, Facility Managers and other related Building and Construction professionals for new construction projects across Africa. Role Summary New Nation Project Manager is the principal staff of the New Nation vision helping to research and create development projects that increase citizen’s access to basic amenities and bridge the development divide between Africa and the rest of the world.The ideal candidates will be responsible for the overall construction of projects assigned.He/She must possess the knowledge, experience and confidence to engage and professionally interact with design professionals, consultants and other construction related personnel in planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget. Responsibilities Prepare project schedule.Review project plans and specificationsAssists estimator in preparation of project budgetPrepare the general conditions budget.Monitor and maintain the project construction schedule on a weekly basis.Monitor site safety and ensure that the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act are enforced.Prepare monthly cost forecasting summaries.
