Job Purpose
The Senior Recruitment Officer is responsible for Recruitment process pertaining to the portfolio Vertical assigned. The Senior Recruitment Officer ensures that all recruitments are done as per the approved Manpower Plan of the Bank and ensure all the Recruitments are done in line with the Bank’s Policy under the supervision of the Head of Recruitment. The Job Holder ensures that strict confidentiality is maintained while performing all his duties. The Senior Recruitment Officer also partners with the Line Manager Functional Group Head to understand the Manpower requirements and play a Business Advisory role as regards Recruitment.
Main Duties
- To assist the Head of Recruitment to bring the required manpower as per the approved Manpower Plan of the Bank and within the stipulated SLA’s.
- To ensure the Recruitment process in order that all activities are done within the framework of the Recruitment Policy of the Bank whilst assuring the quality of the process.
- Sourcing suitable candidates based on Business requirements Approved manpower plan through appropriate cost effective sourcing channels – Approved Recruitment Agents walk in candidates Career Website Job advertisement and Social Media.
- Screening filtering of resumes and Shortlisting suitable applicants for interview.
- Negotiate salary with the candidates in coordination with the Head of Recruitment.
- Ensure all scrutinized applicants are submitted to the business line for them to tele interview and follow up for the same.
- Ensure coordination with the relevant Functional Group Heads for obtaining the Manpower Requirements and provide a Business Advisory role as regards Recruitment.
- Conceptualizing and executing the Recruitment Initiatives establishing healthy business relationships with line managers for the purpose of identifying the Manpower Requirements.
- Designing and placing an advertisement as and when required and plan for Recruitment Drives in various locations in consultation with the Head of Recruitment.
- Ensure a smooth Offer Negotiation process and ensure completion of documentation from the candidate as per the policy requirements of the Bank.
- Responsible for MIS generation pertaining to the Recruitment activities and make it available as and when required.
