Lead a team of Engineers responsible for developing and validating new wellhead and valve products and designs to meet customer requirements. The team will be responsible for establishing and maintaining material and design standards to be used by the Engineering Unit.
Engineering
Lead a team of Engineers in designing unique wellhead and valve systems for customer specific projects. The Engineering Unit will be responsible for executing day to day engineering functions such as expansion of existing product lines, supporting sales, manufacturing and operations functions.

Description
Role & Responsibility in this position shall be as stated below and not limited to:
Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations.Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs; applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods; testing properties.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Interpret the customers' broad technical requirements and configure a wellhead system to meet the customers' needs.Good understanding of drilling rig activities and how the equipment is handled and utilized.Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations.Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Profile
Must have experience in the R&D department designing Oil and gas related equipmentMust have at least 15 years of total experienceMust have a degree in Engineering
