Responsible for all
assisted reproduction technology (ART) laboratory techniques including oocyte
retrieval, insemination, pronuclear assessment, embryo culture, gamete
micromanipulation, embryo grading,
cryopreservation, embryo biopsy for
pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), semen analysis, and laboratory
quality control, quality assurance and quality improvements activities. Participate
and support research projects conducted by the faculty members in the division.
· Perform audits of
all equipment to ensure that they are functioning correctly.
· Participate in the
annual embryo storage audits and to assist with the system of contact for
patients with embryos in storage.
· Participate in the
development and maintenance of IVF research.
