As the Director of Operational Innovation you will be part of the Executive Committee reporting to the General Manager.
Job Description
As the Director of Operational Innovation it is your main responsibility to achieve innovative process improvements in their area of responsibility. The Director of Operational Innovation is an on-property position which is focused on using defined approaches (Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen) and tools to drive revenue, manage cost and improve the quality and consistency of our guests’ experiences. You will be further responsible: to interact with associates, managers and guests to develop and implement solutions which always consider the perspectives of these three critical groups of stakeholders; to cooperate and communicate with all departments in order to methodically address issues and opportunities for sustainable change; to collect and analyze data to make customer focused business decisions; to act as a project team leader for complex cross-functional projects while mobilizing team members to accomplish the set goals; to identify, integrate, and transfer internal and external best practices into operational processes; to identify resource needs and the required skills to support Six Sigma initiatives; and to drive the selection of Green Belt candidates.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education / experience are preferred.
Previous experience in the field of project management and Green Belt operations are required.
We expect you to have previous work experience in a leadership role and the ability to achieve results and manage teams.
Superior analytical skills and the ability to methodically problem-solving are required.
We want you to be able to mentor, coach, and educate others on six sigma methodologies such as DMAIC, Kaizen, and Lean.
You must be fluent in the English language, both written and verbally.
