Responsible for daily
support of related software, documentation, report writing, system monitoring
and problem resolution for all imaging applications in designated areas. Assist
in training programs and work closely with end users to optimize their use of
the imaging systems.
Functional / Technical
Duties:
· Perform technical
tasks in support of the Imaging solution and operations of the imaging
departments.
· Provide
implementation support, production support and on-site support as necessary to
keep systems operational and resolve complex problems.
· Prepare a variety of
reports for documenting activities and responding to requests, or complying
with mandated requirements. This includes audit for data validation and
performance improvement.
· Maintain in-depth
knowledge of existing systems and applications and communicate any suggested
change or enhancement to the Senior Imaging Application Specialist.
· Participate in
meetings and workshops for communicating system capabilities.
· Perform daily
auditing to maintain the integrity of PACS_RIS database systems.
· Act as a first line
technical resource to departments with imaging automation needs.
· Act as a liaison
between the administrative/clinical areas and the IT department.
