Position Summary Security Presales Engineer
What You Will Be Doing
bull Assist Sales team as a technical presales engineer with primary solution selling for following security solution providers
RSA Secure ID
Guidance Software
Secunia
GFI
Firemon
Kaspersky
Symantec
Trend Micro
McAfee
Websense
Barracuda
Fortinet
bull Provide technical expertise to Account Executives and Clients on designated focus area
bull Conduct presentations discussions and whiteboard sessions with Clients on designated focus area and communicate value proposition.
bull Assist Account Executives with collecting business and technical requirements and determining recommended solutions
bull For strategic mapped accounts assist Account Executives as a Technical Account Manager TAM with account planning and solution selling
bull Complete technical sections for RFPRFIRFQ responses for assigned accounts
bull Develop solution architecture
bull Develop presentation material proposal and statement of work documents
bull Conduct periodical presentations and refresher training to Account Executives about sales and presales training on designated focus area.
bull In conjunction with the Account Executive address customer satisfaction issues surrounding technical aspects of a recommended solution or its implementation and deployment. As needed assist in coordinating remediation efforts.
bull Complete training per development plan and maintain certifications in accordance with focus area

Job Requirements
What You Need for this Position
bull Preferred 2 yearrsquos applicable technical pre sales experience
bull Preferred CCNA MCSE Linux Security
bull Ability to work independently with minimal directions
bull Selfmotivation and high level of autonomy and creativity
bull Organizational skills needed for handling multiple priorities
bull Skills for the promotion of positive interdepartmental and customer relations
bull Communication skills
bull Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation instruction persuasion or speaking with others
bull Ability to function in a high stress environment under substantial time pressure
bull Deep understanding of network concepts.
bull Analytical and problem solving skills.
