Purpose Objectives
The Individual Psychosocial Counsellor is responsible to coordinate social and psychosocial counsellingnbspfor vulnerable refugees approaching or referred to the Dropin centre and through home visits. She isnbspalso responsible to compile information related to awareness raising and ICs.
Responsibilitiesduties
1. Identify and receive cases with special needs who may require further intervention andornbspassessment
2. Conduct assessments on the social needs of vulnerable refugees interviews shall include annbspassessment of environmental emotional behavioural and social factors as well as resources
and strengths that impact the individual wellbeing
3. Monitor the cases interviewed and counselled through home visits
4. After a deep needs assessment propose to the DC Coordinator the referral of individual cases tonbspassistance providers including ICM and MRC meetings
5. Address the psychosocial needs of refugees and when needed conduct an accurate referral tonbspthe health clinic or to other organizations working for the refugees in the area of responsibility
accompany the referred case to the premises of the relevant health organization and whennbspneeded and agreed identify an accompanier for individual cases
6. Keep the Dropin centre Coordinator informed of the individual cases conditions on a weeklynbspbasis make prompt reports and bring to the immediate attention of the Coordinator any case of
special needs
7. Take part when requested by the DC Coordinator in the weekly ICM and meetings
8. Participate in preventivecapacity building activities and to meetings as per request of the DCnbspCoordinator
9. Respect deadlines of monthly reports or any urgent report
10. Coordinate the intervention with the other staff of the DC
11. Any other task not listed here and necessary for the project implementation.
Qualification Required
Shehe should be a holder of Degree psychology or social science
Shehe should be a Yemeni national
Fluent in both English and Arabic
Shehe should have excellent communication skills and the ability to cooperate with others asnbsppart of the team

Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently and quickly under pressure both independently and asnbspa team member.
