Summary:
Plan and direct the operations of Company through managing the daily operations, planning the use of available resources and assisting in operational policies & procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Manage Co.'s retail operations as per the approved span of control providing clear guidelines to direct reports including the setting measurable annual objectives aligned with company strategy.
•Reviews sales and activities reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement and proactively resolve issues and take all measures to ensure the security of the business.
•Play a leading role in developing strategies and plans to achieve company objectives.
•Direct and approve operational procedures for retail and merchandizing units and ensure strict compliance with approved procedures.
•Review the suppliers' list and product portfolio to ensure quality and cost effectiveness and introduce new product/brands to maximize profit.
•Propose actions on all matters that will help achieve the sales and profits targets of MK Co.
•Ensure that the execution of all activities comply with MK Co.standards and meet consumer expectations and that operations are running smoothly.
•Responsible for the development, growth and security of retail and wholesale business.
•Direct and approve the "Marketing Plans & Calendar" and agree their final draft and partner with the Marketing team to ensure effective and successful implementation.
•Reviews and coordinates the launching of new products with other concerned department heads.
•Monitor competitive activities and propose actions to maintain the leading position of MK Co.products, image and business.
•Ensure that adequate resources are in place and monitor spending, revenues and budgets to achieve profit targets.
•Evaluate the performance of direct reports based on regular reviews to ensure that business targets are on the right track and to provide coaching as needed.
•Ensure that the staffing plans for retail operations are in place and followed and in coordination with HR department interview and approve applicants.
•Lead, guide and motivate employees, building a team that provides top-notch customer service.
•Increase warehouse productivity, through setting up and improving stock control and delivery system.
•Where possible introduce "e-merchandizing".
