• Monitors representatives’ performance and gives timely feedback and communicates results to ensure standards are met.• Works with representatives to establish action plans to meet sales, retention and partner product goals.• Coordinates and reviews work of assigned staff to ensure policy and procedures are followed accurately.• Takes escalated customer calls from representatives and may provide backup to sales branch manager.• Learns and maintains a working knowledge of product information.• Engages in other projects as assigned.• May develop processes and procedures for department.• Prepares reports and documentation concerning departmental activities.• Participates in the establishment of department goals and implements procedures and performance standards to achieve these goals; manages, coordinates, monitors and evaluates the activities of teams directly.• Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future business.• Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.• Participates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.• Supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).• Supports sales manager and other sales professionals in developing new market opportunities in the designated territory or market• Independently prepares sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions.• Monitor agent’s preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.• Develop daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports to be submitted to the direct manager.• Manages and motivates subordinate staff; reviews and assesses performance, builds employee capacity, supports their professional development and enables employees to optimize their contribution to the department.• Perform any other assigned tasks from direct manager with the same level of authority
