• Plans, organizes and
supervises the maintenance operations in all company facilities
• Develops and implements preventive maintenance programs to ensure smooth operation of facility equipment and minimizing downtime.
• Manages maintenance projects by controlling project time, costs and timely communication with all stakeholders
• Establishes job priorities and time frames for Maintenance Staff
• Responsible for installation or repair of all facility electrical, mechanical and cooling systems
• Ensures timely availability of critical spare parts by advance preparation of supply source or by maintaining parts in inventory
• Monitors completion of job assignments through frequent field observation and inspections to ensure compliance with standards and instruction and revises instructions and time frames as necessary
• Responsible for hiring and training employees on equipment, task procedures, work standards and proper safety procedures
• Schedules and Supervises maintenance activities, including work performed by contractors or subcontractors
• Develops specifications and makes recommendations on equipment, mechanical or electrical system purchases
• Maintains appropriate documentation of maintenance schedules, equipment installations, repairs and work orders and other operational reports for each location
• Prepares maintenance department budget for repairs, replacement, and purchase of new equipment, parts or systems
• Ensures that management directives are executed within reasonable time frames and oversees implementation of new procedures
• Ensures company policies are communicated, applied and enforced (i.e. accounting, operational, safety, regulatory and administrative).
