As a part of our Logistics Team you will oversee the entire supply chain (from origin to store, including store returns) to work within budget and meet business and service level objectives both locally and internationally.
You will also be responsible for controlling supply chain costs; developing clear logistics best practices and processes; ensuring that volume plans and forecasts are submitted to the 3PL and are accurate; developing continuous improvement strategies, including quantitative analysis and evaluation of the supply chain and processes; and building strong relationships with all key stakeholders.
About You
A successful Assistant Logistics Manager should have an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in SCM/Logistics ideally; minimum of 2 - 3 years of Supply Chain & Logistics management experience, retail preferred; knowledge of Warehouse, Distribution, Customs & Cross Border Freight & 3PL Management; competent is using MS Office Tools and advanced ERP user; and an understanding of Supply Chain Logistics Operations in multi country environment.
You should also be able to demonstrate strong people relationship and management skills; ability to work independently; good negotiation skills; strong presentation and communication skills; and willingness to travel within the GCC and abroad.
