Project Manager LSS
Position Overview
A LSS Project Manager
has primary responsibility for the management of assigned service projects and
works in partnership with the sales engineering and other aftermarket service
staff to ensure financial and technical success. This includes customer
satisfaction in the areas of project execution and deliverables. Duties include
planning and in coordination with the LSS Operations Managers organizing
resources required to execute assigned projects. The Project Manager is
expected to understand how project financial success is measured and contribute
to the overall success of the department relating the

objectives and goals to project objectives. Also the Project Manager should be
able to perceive problems well in advance and consider the broad range of
financial commercial and technical factors in assessing situations identifying
possible solutions and implementing the approved solutions. A LSS Project
Manager will serve as the single point of contact for Honeywell on all assigned

A Project Manager
shall collaborate with other team members to achieve the Honeywell's goals and
objectives. The position will have a direct reporting relationship to LSS
Project Management Leader with a matrix reporting to the Field Service
Managers. The successful candidate will possess the ability to be strategic and
tactical while managing projects possessing strong customer service skills and
influencing and maintaining close working relationship with other departments.
Given the need the LSS
Project Manager may assist Sales amp Business Development team on project
pursuits providing expertise in project execution planning and solution
presentation for customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage all assigned projects for compliance to agreement project quality customer Satisfaction schedule risk management and assist with issue resolutions and resource needs.
- Maintain project schedule
- Task and Resource Planning Scheduling Forecasting.
- Manage day to day operation of the assigned projects as per the established agreement. Ensure all deliverables are met at specified schedules and due dates. Participate in the contract updates and audits activities.
- Manage the process of scope definition and change control including estimating and negotiations of contract scope variations change orders
- Identify important potential risks technical or other and establish and execute detailed plans to ensure that risks are mitigated and opportunities are realized.
- Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
- Facilitate the procurement of third party hardware software included in project scope.
- Responsible for forecasting reporting both to the customer and the internal organization.
- Work to ensure all financial data is accurate and on time including cost forecasting billings receivables collections and overall process compliance.
- Work with sales pursuit teams during pre award activities. As needed assists in the development of project scope cost estimates price value positioning and proposal execution presentations within technical capabilities.
- Liaison with Sales Service and Project key personnel to ensure the project scope is well understood and delivered as committed by project team and to customer satisfaction.
- Provide mentoring to the team in fields of technical expertise where appropriate as well as work practices project status and deadlines financial deadlines etc.
- Ensures system installations meet all requirements provided by the customer and implements innovative methods to solve difficult technical problems.
- Stays abreast of customer needs requirements systems status and actual or potential customer problems.
- Ability to develop strong business relationship with key customer project personnel.
- Leverages relationship to improve efficiency speed communication and overall customer experience in doing business with Honeywell.
- Must have ability to negotiate and manage third party contracts.
- Manage complex contractual relationships involving Customer and EPC's. Proven experience with and understanding of EPC practices and procedures
- Maintain technical competency in Honeywell system best practices and project management.
- Apply applicable Honeywell QA and project management procedures methods Ensure complete project closeout and handover to Service Support team. The Project Manager is expected to manage all phases of an automation service project including Pre Sales Support Engineering Definition Detailed Engineering Factory Acceptance Testing Site Installation Site Acceptance Testing and Site Commissioning Support. As such travel to customer facilities and work at site locations could be required depending on the specific contractual requirements and current phase of the project

Essential Requirements
• Graduated less than
12 months ago with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Fluent written and
verbal communications in both English amp French
• Excellent communication
and proactive customer service skills
• Strong customer
focus drive for results and ability to deal effectively with ambiguity
• Ability to deal with
multiple requests tasks and prioritize
• Strong diagnosis
root causing methodology
Desirable requirements
• Solid customer care
experience or technology industry knowledge is a plus
