Program Director, the CTO will be
part of the Business
Improvement Group and will oversee the hiring,
training, mentoring, throughput and quality of the tech
organization.
This role will be based in our Lahore office.
Key Responsibilities:
• Understand the organizational Tech resource requirements by keeping the sales pipeline in mind.
• Work closely with HR and hire the right people based on the organizational Tech resource requirements.
• Create an induction program for newly hired Tech resources
• Train the newly hired resources and fulfill mini organizations’ resource requirements.
• Own the quality of the technical deliverable.
• Guide the engineering team from architecture and design point of view where required.
• Work with the functional managers of each mini organization to improve the defect injection rate.
• Inculcate the quality culture in the tech organization in a way that the tech team starts to be more quality focused.
• Work with top management to define processes to improve the quality and throughput of the deliverables.
• Ensure that the functional managers in each mini organization thoroughly understand the defined processes and quality standards.
• Ensure that the functional managers in each mini organization are working with their respective teams to trickle down the processes and quality standards.
• Perform audits of the mini organizations to ensure that the processes and quality standards are being followed.
• Mentor the functional managers of the mini organizations.
• Stay abreast of the latest tools and technologies being used in the market
• Suggest ways to constantly improve the productivity of the team and quality of the deliverables.
• Lead the IS, NOS, SCM and Internal Development Teams and provide them with clear direction and coaching and be available to resolve their issues.
• Establish IS department by giving them clear direction and building the team capacity.
• Establish Performance & Load Testing lab and build a department to be able to run Performance & Load Testing on our products.
• Define and implement objective criteria for promoting the tech resources to the next level.
• Work with the functional managers of each mini organization and define and Implement a system by which Actual Effort vs. Planned Effort can be tracked for tech deliverables
