Senior Data Base Administration

Provide technical expertise to 1st line support staff to ensure high level of service Test and document database installations, upgrades and configuration standards to ensure alignment Evaluate database features and related products to ensure proficiency Tune databases to optimize performance to ensure no work interruptions Perform and maintain required capacity planning to ensure alignment Manage and implement security measures to safeguard databases against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure Design, document and maintain databases operation procedures to ensure compliance Perform regular daily database operations including; problem resolution, performance monitoring, and tuning…etc to ensure proper work operation Participate in production system on-call rotation to provide proper support Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management including backups and disaster recovery to ensure alignment with company policies and procedures Deploy and manage Microsoft SQL-Server 2005/2008 databases based on Microsoft Clusters and SQL-Server Replication technologies to ensure efficiency Design and run export procedures for refreshing QA environments to ensure high level of support Specify needs on core services and tools (Monitoring, Statistics, Reporting …) for further recommendations Maintain strong working knowledge of new products and services to ensure continuous development

Salary: 5000 to 7000 EGP Per Month
