Job OverviewAs a member of the management team, this position is instrumental in developing and fulfilling the short-term as well as long-term goals of the company and executing the F&B philosophy. The goals will be accomplished by the proper implementation, promotion, and success of our operations through continual evaluation of the products/services provided while ensuring effective training of the service teams. The individual will instill a strong atmosphere of service excellence. The individual will develop guidelines and goals within the structure of the budget, achieving results through prudent management techniques and cost controlling measures. This covers our current branches in Cairo and future branches in future expansions.General Responsibilities• Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.• Ensure that all services and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant/cafe recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards in all branches.• Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.• Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling in accordance with policies and procedures.• Continually strive to develop your team in all areas of managerial and professional development.• Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.• Ensure that staff keeps all equipment clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurants preventative maintenance programs.• Ensure that all products are received by staff in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the company receiving policies and procedures.• Oversee and ensure that food & beverage policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.• Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.• Be knowledgeable of food & beverage policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.• Develop, plan and carry out food & beverage marketing, advertising and promotional activities and campaigns. This can be in coordination with management and the existing in-house marketing team.
