-Plans, Controls and Co-ordinates all Electrical maintenance and
repairs on the Rig and in the Camp, in accordance with Company's
Procedures and Instruction of PMS.
-Is responsible for the execution of the maintenance schedule as detailed in the preventative maintenance programme.
-Continually monitor the performance of PMS and initiates improvement necessary in accordance with Company's Procedures and Instruction.
-He supervises all electrical work in order to ensure that required safe working Practice is executed to its fullest extend.
-Controls the stock of Electrical spare parts kept on the Rig and ensures that sufficient spares are available on the rig site to adequately support day to day maintenance routines and operations critical requirements.
-Carries out such on the job training as is necessary to ensure the appropriate application of all aspects of PMS and the safe and competent use of equipment and tools.
-Carries out the function of JD coordinator on Rig Location by controlling all in- and outputs of electronic PM System.
-He ensures that good housekeeping practice is established and maintained in his department.
-He ensure that his staff is inducted/trained in all aspects of Company's QMS and HSE MS, as far as applicable to them in compliance with Procedures and Instructions as detailed in above systems.
-He keeps himself informed of all QMS, HSE MS and other Requirements by closely observing the Read-me-file-system and closing out of Reading Requirements allocated to him in a timely manner.
-He ensures that all company disseminated information applicable to his staff is communicated to them in TBTs, Safety Meetings or by means of Procedure/Instruction training and that execution of such communication/training is appropriately recorded as defined in respective Procedures.
-He carries out TBTs at the beginning of each shift and on change of operation/task and supervises all work of his staff to an extend, as is necessary, to ensure the safety and integrity of staff and plant at all times.
