Executing Plans and
Programs
• Ensure Distribution
Centre functions are strictly followed according to company policies and
procedures
• Executing endorsed
plans and programs to achieve set goals
• Suggesting plans,
programs and activities to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of the
Distribution Centre operations
• Determining and
Assigning work procedures, preparing work schedules and expediting work flow to
improve efficiency of subordinates and maintaining harmony among them
Executive and
Technical Duties
• Follow-up on
distribution procedures and set action plans for outgoing deliveries
• Keep track in the
products levels, DC space and incoming products
• Monitor, maintain
and control the inventory records by providing the management with the products
movement
• Ensure that all
transactions are properly documented and updated in SAP
• Ensure Quality and
Safety standards are met in all DC areas
• Establishing
performance measures and priorities for the Region, and conducting periodical
visits to them to evaluate the efficiency of their performance
• Continuously
monitoring the market environment in order to identify and grasp opportunities
for increasing and developing the distribution of Modern Electronics' products
• Maintaining
proactive relationships with major distributors and ensuring that the
distribution activities cover all the Region
• Reviewing the
distribution channel(s) and developing distribution processes that facilitate
the sales of slow moving products
• Administering the
training of the distribution staff to ensure that they possess a superior and
comprehensive knowledge of all products provided by Modern Electronics
• Overseeing
activities of subordinates such as: analyzing the market environment elements,
developing forecasts, inspecting products before delivery, POP deliveries…etc
General Administrative
Duties
• Preparing periodic
(daily, weekly, monthly and adhoc) reports with respect to DC activities and
inventory, and submitting to the Regional Logistics Manager.
• Following-up on
employee's administrative affairs such as: vacations, leaves …etc
• Participating in
conducting performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans
and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices
• Nominating a deputy
to carry out the responsibility of the position whenever the need arises
• Performing other
duties related to the job as assigned by the Kingdom Warehouse Manager
