Cost Control Development and execution of the project cost plan and
monitor costs and collects cost data to ensure conformity with top managements
budget directives, cost tracking, forecasting and financial reporting.

Provides Project Management with the information needed to control costs.
•
Points out areas of cost overrun.
•
Investigates and recommends corrective action.
•
Forecasts costs and prepares a complete project cost outlook on a monthly
basis.
•
Monitors costs between outlooks and advises the Project Management of any
event or decision that has significant cost impact.
•
Keeps a complete record of changes to the project.
•
Provides quick cost estimates for design alternatives.
•
Manages financial part of the project, covering cost areas such as
Forecasts, Actuals, Bookings and Commitments.
•
Sends cost information back to home office or central database for use in
future estimates.
