Responsible for all
financial activities related to a business unit including invoicing, revenue
recognition, cost management, forecasting, and budgeting. Provides analysis and
financial advice to the Business Unit General Manager to enhance continued
financial success.
Accounting Close:
• Manages employees to
ensure all contracts are invoices and recognized properly.
• Reviews expense
invoice activity and records accruals appropriately
• Reviews payroll
activity to ensure proper accounting
• Ensure the accuracy
of financial data.
• Maintain historical
records for review with auditors
Forecasting/
Budgeting:
• Partners with the
Business Unit General Managers to build business plans and forecasts
Management Reporting
• Producing standard
and ad hoc financial reports including variance explanations
• Analyze cost rates
and changeability of employees for proper cost allocations
• Review financial
results with Business Unit General Managers including comparison to forecasts
and budgets
Other
• Review client
contracts and propose changes to financial aspects of deals
• Continued review of
financial policies and processes to improve efficiencies
• Manage HR processes
related to employees including yearly reviews
• Various Ad Hoc
processes
