The Jr. System & Network Administrator will be responsible for monitoring systems across a multi-platform environment, processing alerts and tickets while following through a completion or escalation. The candidate must follow operational procedures and guidelines established by management.
• Monitoring of customers IT infrastructure environment for hardware and OS related alerts, errors, warnings, performance, communications related issues, or problem conditions.
• Submit jobs and tasks, views and collects statistical information, research problems, logs, and the ending of jobs or tasks as needed using all menus, commands, and scripts
• Responsible for the verification of systems or any communications related items on all applicable platforms within the NOC
• Responsible for all functions of day to day operational tasks and variants on all platforms within the NOC.
• Responsible for detailed documentation and reporting of events and follow through until resolution.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
