Job Purpose
The purpose of the job is to assist the CP teams in Sanarsquoa and Amran in all aspects of information management to ensure that CP information is managed well in order to facilitate case management and other efforts.nbsp
Under the supervision of the CP Program Officer Centre Area and with technical support from the Case Management Officer the Data Entry Clerk will work to ensure that all case management data including CP concerns case plans followup actions and case closure is documented whereby ensuring adherence to confidentiality protocols. In addition the Data Entry Clerk will ensure that achievements are systematically captured in the relevant narrative and numerical reporting formats.nbsp

Needs Analysis and Program Design

bullnbspnbsp nbspContribute to situation analysis and participate actively in developing a child protection and child rights governance strategy
Program Implementation
bullnbspnbsp nbspEnsure the regular timely and accurate entry of case files into the database as well as followup informationnbsp
bullnbspnbsp nbspWith the CP Program Officer and Case Management Officer train the CP staff community and case workers on principles of case managementnbsp
bullnbspnbsp nbspWith the CP Project Officers work with case workers and community child protection structures nbspto support case management
bullnbspnbsp nbspDocument all cases registered and compile all forms according to the procedures and information management needs
bullnbspnbsp nbspWork closely with the case workers to ensure that follow up monitoring is done for all children with protection concerns and update the data base accordingly.
bullnbspnbsp nbspProduce monthly disaggregated statistics and qualitative updates of progress on case management work.
bullnbspnbsp nbspLiaise with the child protection officers and other agencies to refer cases as appropriate
bullnbspnbsp nbspManage the Hodeida level nbspchildrenrsquos computer database as a store for information gathered by the case workers nbspand partners
bullnbspnbsp nbspEnsure that the data related to children is safe and shared as per Save The Childrenrsquos nbspprocedures and policiesnbsp
bullnbspnbsp nbspCarry out the responsibilities of the role in a way which reflects Save the Children39s commitment to safeguarding children in accordance the Child safeguarding Policy
bullnbspnbsp nbspComply with all relevant Save the Children policies and procedures with respect to health and safety security equal opportunities and other relevant policies.

Other data entry
bullnbspnbsp nbspRegularly and systematically obtain information of CP activity achievementsnbsp
bullnbspnbsp nbspEnsure that the relevant reporting formats IPTT narrative are updated and submitted to the CP Program Officer on timely basis

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES
bullnbspnbsp nbspAt least Grade 12 education diploma
bullnbspnbsp nbspAt least 2 years work experience in a humanitarian context with an NGO or UN organization
bullnbspnbsp nbspComputer literate Strong skills in Micro office application Word Excel .....etc
bullnbspnbsp nbspAbility to do data entry very fast and accurately.
bullnbspnbsp nbspGood understanding of key areas of Child Protection programming knowledge of other sectors such as education and health is considered an asset
bullnbspnbsp nbspWillingness and ability to dramatically change work practices and increase work hours in the event of emergencies
bullnbspnbsp nbspFluency in written and spoken Arabic able to write and communicate in English willingness to further improve English language skillsnbsp
