
Initiates and directs the business development activities of the GBL in country and drives innovation.
Key Responsibilities Duties
- Develop longterm strategic goals for business development in line with the location infrastructure business strategy
- Identify and investigate GBL growth opportunities for the company
- Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organizations in region
- Liaise with operations to identify client needs and BD opportunities
- Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events publications and announcements
- Identify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions to drive GBL growth in region working closely with GBL Business Director and Client Development Director
- Maintains accuracy of sales pipeline and communicates pipeline opportunities and requirements to internal stakeholders such as Bid Management Capability Leaders Recruitment Client Development Regional GBL Leaders
- Leads communications among team members business partners and external resources
- Pursues opportunities for knowledge transfer and capture industry best practices
- Manages mobilisation planning scheduling costing execution risk management activities HSE and closing processes of projects if required.
- Participation in monthly Project Reviews in terms of Technical Progress against project plan
- Monthly Project Review in terms of financial expenditure against budget
