Dubai Novo Nordisk UAE is looking for an experienced HR Manager to take up the position as People amp Organization Manager based in Dubai UAE.
You will become part of one of the fastest growing business areas in a company committed to changing the lives of patients with diabetes and haemophilia and growth disorders.
About the department
The PampO Manager reports to the General Manager and will have functional reporting into the respective Business Area.
The job
As People amp Organization Manager and part of the UAE management team your primary role is to oversee the strategic and operational activities of the HR function implementation of Corporate and Business Area HR strategies and to ensure that company culture and values form an integral part of all Affiliate activities.
Key responsibilities includes the recruitment selection and integration of competent team members to drive a high performance culture ensure that employees are offered relevant training and development opportunities in line with individual and company needs and to ensure a positive and engaging working environment.
You will also be responsible for all aspects of the HR function included but not limited to employee reward and recognition plans employer branding administration payroll insurances benefits and other related HR duties and tasks. Lastly you will act as business partner and advisor to local the management team with regards to workforce planning organizational design succession management performance management amp coaching.
As you will set up the first local HR function you will be required to be hands on as no direct reports will be reporting into this role.
Qualifications
You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in human resources business or other relevant degrees. You have 68 years of practical and generalist experience within the different areas of the human resources function. People management experience is considered an additional plus.
You are a strong communicator with a high level of energy and the ability to handle many different priorities at the same time. You are able to create strong internal and external relationships and to drive crossfunctional collaboration and teamspirit. You are fluent in both written and spoken English at a professional level. Arabic will be a plus.
