Reporting to the Sr. Admission Counsellor and Student Recruiter, the purpose of the job is to proactively advise prospective students and new students during the admission cycle by providing personalized support and serving as a resource for the applicants
Key Responsibilities
Admissions
• Represents the University both on- and off-campus to prospective students, parents, secondary school students and other individuals or organizations involved in the pursuing their education.
• Informs prospectus students about policies and procedures and documents they will need for admissions
• Generate ID cards, usernames, passwords for students and prepares letters for students.
• Informs prospective students of financial aid and scholarships available at the university.
• Arranges appointment with faculty as and when prospective students need to speak with them for more information on courses.
• Follows up on calls to prospective students who fail to register.
• Provides campus tours if needed
Student Recruitment
• Assists the Sr. Recruiter and Admission Counsellor in implementing recruitment activities for assigned high schools including travelling to their locations
Counselling
• Counsels prospective applicants on the admissions process and opportunities at the University.
• Assists in the development and delivery of on/off-campus events and programs for counselling groups and individuals.
Events
• Participates in information sessions, student orientation, exhibitions and others to provide more information about the university and courses offered.
Knowledge And Skills
To qualify, applicants should be a university graduate with a minimum of 1 year experience in an educational institute
Nature of Relevant Experience Required: Public Relations, Customer Service and Good communication skills
Language Skills required:
