We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Facilities, Maintenance and Equipment Supervisor to join our team in Al Futtaim Logistics. The role will be based from our busy Jebel Ali site and will report into the HSE Manager. The main purpose of this role is to assist the following business units (internal customers and colleagues) with all projects that include equipment, procurement, maintenance, repairs, replacement and service requirements:
* Contract Logistics: Offices and Warehousing
* Auto Units: Offices, PDI Facilities & Car Yards
* Corporate Head Office
* Thyssen Building / Sub Lease
* Chep Building / Sub Lease
* GT and Freight Forwarding
* Cargo Village
* Corporate Transport
* Al-Futtaim Travel
* Staff Accommodation
It is the responsibility of the Facilities, Maintenance and Equipment Supervisor to understand facility requirements and internal customer needs as they apply to all Business Units, alongisde providing a cost effective approach and solutions to enhance Business Operations. Convey ideas or thoughts regarding facility improvements that may have been overlooked and should be considered.
About You
To be considered for this role you will ideally be ISO Certified (Home building and Property Awareness (Certified 2008-2009), Construction Management Awareness and Terminology (Certified 2008-2009), Building Terminology (Certified 2008-2009) and will have a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
It is essential that you have a complete understanding of construction methodologies and techniques, materials, labour costs, scheduling, coordination & supervision of construction, equipment and facility related processes from design phase to final delivery.
