The Director of
Finance will be a strategic thought-partner, and report to the Managing
Director (MD). Be hands-on and participative and lead and develop an internal
team to support the following areas:
finance, business planning and budgeting,
human resources, administration, warehouse, service, legal and credit
functions. He will ensure working capital and cash flow of the company is
efficiently managed and correct accounting & internal control procedures are
followed, audit and reconciliations are carried out in time in such a way that
up to date and accurate information is always available from the ERP system.
KEY RESULT AREA:
Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate - weekly, monthly, half yearly and annual financial statements; collate financial reporting materials for all channels, and oversee all financial accounting.
Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and assess any changes necessary.
Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with MD & CEO; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep MD & CEO abreast of the organization's financial status.
Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.
Implement a robust dealer incentive management and financial management/ reporting system; ensure that the billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.
Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the Finance, HR & Credit department's overall policy and procedure manual.
Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the senior management.
Work closely and transparently with all external partners including third-party vendors and consultants.
Ensure organization wide cost control measures are initiated across all departments and a regular report is submitted to the Senior management.
Prepare all policy and procedure manuals in Finance, Accounts, Purchase, HR, Warehouse, Logistics, IT, Sales (all channels), Credit, Supply Chain and all other departments in the company.
Oversee administrative and support functions as well as facilities to ensure efficient and consistent operations as the organization scales.
