successful delivery of Hadoop implementations all the way to Production o
Preferably Cloudera based § HDFS and related technologies (Avro, Parquet,
Snappy) § Map Reduce and Yarn § Spark and Spark Streaming § Flume, Kafka, Sqoop
§ Hive, Pig, Impala § Oozie § Linux shell scripting § Experience with following
technologies is a bonus: o Elastic Search o Solr / Cloudera Search o Cassandra
o HBase o Datameer / Trifacta / Platfora and similar tools
JOB PURPOSE
Architect, design and communicate high-level structural and behavioral aspects of a system to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs in alignment with corporate IT standards and architecture guiding principles. This necessitates engagement throughout the lifecycle of projects by taking full responsibility for the solution architecture.
