Purpose
Key member of the Supply Chain Management Team based in Vodafone Qatar
Reports and works closely with the Senior Commercial Manager and support the Commercial Services Category.
Engagement across multiple business departments for the delivery of SCM Projects Challenges including close liaison with key stakeholders ie. Finance Business Partners Departmental Business Owners Executive Team Suppliers.
Deliver savings in OPEX amp CAPEX and working towards cost optimisation.
The role requires the individual to work with the relevant areas of the business whilst building and managing a process performance framework to deliver financial and operational efficiencies process improvements and governance adherence.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership ?
Demonstrate the ability to develop and execute spend category strategies Strategy Finance Human Resources Property Marketing Legal CBU and Travel . ?
Develop Procurement strategies roadmaps and proposals to consider new categories of spend not previously explored. ?
Manage OPEX amp Capex Budgets for the categories and identify cost saving initiatives SCM projects ?
Work closely with the Finance Business Partners amp agree on cost saving initiatives project roadmap validation of monthly reporting and cost savings ?
Report to the SCM Senior Commercial Manager on a weekly basis – project updates and cost saving initiatives. ?

JOB SCOPE To provide

Plans and actions to support the proposed Major focus on
commercial budget achievements A good understanding of value chains margins and
commercial profitability proven track record of numerical skills. The CCO as
Head the Commercial Division shall be acutely aware of both the external and
internal competitive landscape in the sector opportunities for expansion
customers markets and new industry developments. The CCO shall demonstrate
leadership that motivates and empowers positively influences customers and
drives product sales to exceed agreed budgets. Notably the CCO will have
cross functional sales trade marketing and logistics responsibilities in each

ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Reports To CEO. Supervises

Logistics Managers Rayyan amp Jannah . Liaises with CFO CTO Head of HR IT
Clients amp Marketers. RESPONSIBILITIES Strategy amp Planning 1
To support the CEO in creating the Mission Vision and Strategic
Plans for sales and distribution. 2 To lead and in conjunction
with the CEO create and present to the Board Strategic Plans and budgets for
the trade Marketing Sales Logistics functions of the Company 3
Oversee implementation of all approved long and short term Commercial Strategic
Plans 4 To lead develop and implement winning sales and pricing
strategies 5 To lead develop and implement trade marketing sales
and logistics performance measures
6 Monitor progress adherence to budgets guidelines policies and evaluate performance 7 Plan work schedules and assign resources to ensure sales amp deliveries are achieved 8 Support the CEO CFO and CTO in developing disaster recovery plans and business continuance policies and procedures Sales amp Marketing 1 Know the market and track competitor activities. In conjunction with the CEO provide input into developing new markets and fine tuning existing sales strategies 2 Ensure that an effective trade marketing framework is developed and implemented to ensure long term sustainable commercial success 3 Manage business development activities amp be accountable for the top line profitability amp increased sales growth of products 4 Manage the various products in accordance with market segment mapping and conduct viability assessments to position the brand and its products in premium sales locations 5 Lead and motivate sales teams. Closely interact with them to ensure success in business development deal closure and client relationship management 6 Establish strategic alliances with financially strong and reliable distributors and retailers resulting in deeper market penetration and reach 7 Develop client trading and credit terms pricing special deals negotiations and contracts in conjunction with the CEO and Head of Legal. 8 Ensure customer satisfaction by achieving agreed delivery outcomes and by interacting regularly with clients handling concerns and providing after sales support 9 Supervise amp monitor the performance of sales employees to ensure monthly sales targets are met 10 Ensure the operating costs for sales and marketing are within monthly quarterly and yearly forecast budgets 11 Develop and administer sales incentive schemes which motivates individuals and teams Logistics 1 Ensure proper budgeting and scheduling of all logistics functions 2 Ensure that all logistics and transport resources and employees are operating at optimum levels of efficiency and productivity to meet product delivery demands of clients 3 Regularly monitor warehouse stock availability with the CTO and Logistics Manager 4 Oversee the management of the fleet catering camp and logistics team 5 Oversee the vehicle inspections maintenance licensing insurance hygiene and fuel efficiency management of the fleet 6 Ensure hygiene audits are undertaken for warehouse labour camp catering vehicles amp all related employees 7 Ensure the operating costs for the Logistics function is within monthly quarterly and yearly forecast budgets. Operations amp Administration 1 Take the lead in the Commercial Department in all functions and responsibilities 2 Ensure effective internal control and management information systems are in place 3 Oversee develop and review monthly quarterly and annual budgets for revenues as well as expenses before distribution to the CEO 4 Ensure the Commercial Division is appropriately resourced with modern fuel efficient and reliable vehicles and qualified experienced employees to enable it to implement agreed business marketing and sales plans within approved budgets
5 Establish and monitor progress of senior team key performance indicators 6 Oversee the development and implementation of a trade marketing Sales and Logistics Polices amp Procedures manual 7 Assist the CEO and CTO in in implementation and monitoring of established food safety standards viz. ISO 22000 2005 and HACCP standards in the Company. 8 In conjunction with the CEO closely monitor and manage all client debtors 9 Monitor analyse discuss and resolve all business critical issues in a timely manner 10 Ensure health amp safety regulations policies are strictly observed amp risk issues identified 11 Constantly evaluate performance of employees in order to identify and provide necessary training feedback to maximize performance 12 Communicate accurately and effectively with clients employees shareholders Government authorities other stakeholders 13 Ensure high standards of corporate citizenship and social responsibility STAFF MANAGEMENT Maintain a climate that attracts retains and motivates quality employees. 6 Monitor progress adherence to budgets guidelines policies and evaluate performance 7 Plan work schedules and assign resources to ensure sales amp deliveries are achieved 8 Support the CEO CFO and CTO in developing disaster recovery plans and business continuance policies and procedures Sales amp Marketing 1 Know the market and track competitor activities. In conjunction with the CEO provide input into developing new markets and fine tuning existing sales strategies 2 Ensure that an effective trade marketing framework is developed and implemented to ensure long term sustainable commercial success 3 Manage business development activities amp be accountable for the top line profitability amp increased sales growth of products 4 Manage the various products in accordance with market segment mapping and conduct viability assessments to position the brand and its products in premium sales locations 5 Lead and motivate sales teams. Closely interact with them to ensure success in business development deal closure and client relationship management 6 Establish strategic alliances with financially strong and reliable distributors and retailers resulting in deeper market penetration and reach 7 Develop client trading and credit terms pricing special deals negotiations and contracts in conjunction with the CEO and Head of Legal. 8 Ensure customer satisfaction by achieving agreed delivery outcomes and by interacting regularly with clients handling concerns and providing after sales support 9 Supervise amp monitor the performance of sales employees to ensure monthly sales targets are met 10 Ensure the operating costs for sales and marketing are within monthly quarterly and yearly forecast budgets 11 Develop and administer sales incentive schemes which motivates individuals and teams Logistics 1 Ensure proper budgeting and scheduling of all logistics functions 2 Ensure that all logistics and transport resources and employees are operating at optimum levels of efficiency and productivity to meet product delivery demands of clients 3 Regularly monitor warehouse stock availability with the CTO and Logistics Manager 4 Oversee the management of the fleet catering camp and logistics team 5 Oversee the vehicle inspections maintenance licensing insurance hygiene and fuel efficiency management of the fleet 6 Ensure hygiene audits are undertaken for warehouse labour camp catering vehicles amp all related employees 7 Ensure the operating costs for the Logistics function is within monthly quarterly and yearly forecast budgets. Operations amp Administration 1 Take the lead in the Commercial Department in all functions and responsibilities 2 Ensure effective internal control and management information systems are in place 3 Oversee develop and review monthly quarterly and annual budgets for revenues as well as expenses before distribution to the CEO 4 Ensure the Commercial Division is appropriately resourced with modern fuel efficient and reliable vehicles and qualified experienced employees to enable it to implement agreed business marketing and sales plans within approved budgets
5 Establish and monitor progress of senior team key performance indicators 6 Oversee the development and implementation of a trade marketing Sales and Logistics Polices amp Procedures manual 7 Assist the CEO and CTO in in implementation and monitoring of established food safety standards viz. ISO 22000 2005 and HACCP standards in the Company. 8 In conjunction with the CEO closely monitor and manage all client debtors 9 Monitor analyse discuss and resolve all business critical issues in a timely manner 10 Ensure health amp safety regulations policies are strictly observed amp risk issues identified 11 Constantly evaluate performance of employees in order to identify and provide necessary training feedback to maximize performance 12 Communicate accurately and effectively with clients employees shareholders Government authorities other stakeholders 13 Ensure high standards of corporate citizenship and social responsibility STAFF MANAGEMENT Maintain a climate that attracts retains and motivates quality employees. Recruit train develop appraise lead supervise monitor discipline delegate promote and guide qualified employees.
COMPETENCIES amp SKILLS Professional strategic high integrity strong leadership creative outstanding sales and trade marketing skills multi tasking team building diplomatic shareholder amp client relations planning analytical strong business acumen budget management profit driven exceptional communication amp influencing skills report writing people management ability to work in challenging multi cultural environment. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION CERTIFICATES LICENSES Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Business Administration Economics and ideally supported with a relevant Master's Degree.
