Senior Journalist

Job Description

We are looking for Senior Journalists to join

 its team in Dubai, the UAE, and work on one

 of its monthly B2B magazine. 

                                                                         

     Ideal candidates must have:
 Feature writing skills
 News reporting skills
 Investigative news sense
 At least three years exp in a magazine or newspaper
 Ability to deconstruct analytical articles into sharp, crisp copy
 Ability to decipher business and financial reports
 Interrogative interview capabilities
 Ability to network and liaise at C-Suite level
 Ability to develop high level – insider – industry contacts
 Highly developed time management and organizational skills
 Basic Indesign skills
 Preferably NCTJ or equivalent trained

Skills

Middle East knowledge
Knowledge of marketing, media and advertising
Arabic spoken – basic/medium level
Highly sensitive to and empathetic with Middle Eastern culture and social norms.
Willingness to work out of hours
Effective communicator
Level headed possessing appropriate emotional responses
Willingness to learn
Flexible, can do attitude
Ambitious
Hard working
