Main Purpose
1. Assist in the delivery Technical Brand management priorities for Snacks brands Cheetos Sunbites Popcorn in MU.
2. To deliver Snacks plan across the 3 muscles innovation productivity and brand maintenance.
Accountabilities
1. Assist in the development of new amp exciting snacks products which are fully aligned to business strategy ensuring maximum competitive advantage in areas such as raw materials processes packaging amp systems and execute its launch flawlessly
2. Technical execution of Snacks Products AOP initiatives.
3. Manage plant trials logistics stakeholders alignment execution and reporting back outcome and next steps
4. Executing projects utilizing solid technical project management tools and skills to ensure objectives are accomplished on time to the agreed standards and within budget.
5. Provide regular progress updates against agreed deliverables amp objectives and timely communication of issues to all primary sponsors and stakeholders.
6. Drawing up concise development briefs focused on AOPIGP Plan objectives with clear success measures. All agreed with key interfaces in the Business Team. Management of these agreed briefs from initial concept to manufacturing reality.
7. Apply consumer product testing sensory analytical tools etc. to deliver superior products to the market and capture product intelligence. Analyze results and provide recommendation to the business in clear written format
8. Maintain raw materials product and process specifications ensuring that they are accurate clear satisfy all regulatory quality and performance parameters and ensuring specifications are maintained and updated.
9. Assist with the management of project spend such that it remains within budget
10. Develop formula cards and BOM for innovation to assist in financial feasibility assessment and make amendments were necessary to meet the profitability targets
11. Monitor the control points of product design and manufacturing performance to deliver optimum market performance the Standardwinning Design. Establishment of process capability and procedures to consistently deliver Standardwinning Design.
12. Provide regular progress updates against agreed deliverables amp objectives and timely communication of issues to all primary sponsors and stakeholders.
13. Act as the guardian of quality for the brands through owning product process and material design standards including Gold Standard supply and keeper of specifications and tracking inmarket performance through FritoLay Challenge WeakLink and competitive testing.
14. Act as the subject matter expert providing technical and troubleshooting support to production team
15. Measure and validate the impact of any deviation from specifications and feed into the concession process to aid in alignment and facilitate an informed concession approval process.
16. Assist in the execution of productivity projects that has a technical change impacting his platforms ensuring suitability for application financial feasibility and consumer satisfaction
17. Qualify new materials as per in collaboration with Global procurement based on cost regulatory requirements consumer satisfaction and process ability
18. Utilize best practices in RampD in MU e.g. product testing tools experimental design advancement in manufacturing processes etc…
