The role is
responsible in assisting and supporting the Store Manager in effectively
managing the overall performance of the hypermarket in line with the
company policies & procedures.
The jobholder is required to be a
professional role model for his staff and use his business experience, skills
and knowledge to deliver a well-merchandized store to maximize turnover and
profitability:
- leads the team to deliver the highest level of customer service including product quality, availability, variety; safety, security and hygiene
- maximizes sales and profitability through sound and controlled forecasting, budgeting, advertising and display techniques
- ensures efficient staff scheduling and planning throughout the trading hours
- manages store needs in terms of maintaining well-trained and well-motivated staff
- closely responsible for the segment assigned (FMCG / Non-FMCG)
