The The Inter-Agency Information and
Analysis Unit (IAU) is recruiting a Knowledge Management (KM)/Information
Management (IM) Specialist to work jointly with UNICEF Iraq to provide support
to
GoI, mainly to the Ministry of Municipalities and Public Works, Mayoralty of
Baghdad in planning, developing and operationalisation of a Knowledge Management
System (KMS) for the selected entities. By the end of assignment, the KMS
should be successfully deployed and handed-over. In addition, he/she will be
responsible for capacity building to the Iraqi Government on all related to KM
matters.
The KM/IM Specialist will also work
with UN Women to assist the Central Statistical Organization (CSO) of the Iraqi
Ministry of Planning, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education on
the Gender Responsive Budgeting (KM-GRB) project. The project is designed to: (1)
address knowledge gaps; (2) create a statistical database; and (3) extend
technical assistance for CSO. KM-GRB aims to improve the capacity and skills of
the project counterpart. The project also aims to develop a software system to
collect GRB data and information for the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of
Education.
The duty station will be in Amman,
Jordan with frequent trips to Baghdad and Erbil, Iraq.
Contract Duration: November 2015 -
March 2016, possibilty of extension
