Job description
Initiate contracts. Receive, analyse and clarify scope of work and specification with consultants/end
user.
Prepare tender documents and finalise with legal, finance and user
division/department.
Compile tender documents and issue to bidders.
Issue invitations to tender (ITTs).
Evaluate bidders clarification, commercial and technical, and coordinate with legal,
financial and user division/department.
Prepare final recommendation for award.
Coordinate with consultants and contractors prior to award of contract.
Prepare letter of award/contract agreement.
Ensure integrity of the contracts process through all stages to award.
Undertake post award administration and claim resolution.
Maintain a comprehensive register of contracts.
Manage interface with Tender Committee.
Provide ad hoc advice on ITT and contracting process.
