Our client is one of
the leading international construction and engineering firms and they have an
urgent requirement for Senior Commercial Manager to be based in Doha, Qatar.
This position requires strong experience in infrastructure projects such as
road, bridges, tunnels or rail.
Main responsibilities
• Supervise and manage performance of pre-post contract management for projects of large scale
• Identify any variations to contract that might impact the project and take necessary actions to ensure smooth running of the project

• Managing a multi-disciplinary team to support in the smooth and cost effective delivery of the project.
• Liaise with project managers and advise on any contractual/legal matters
• Represent the organization to clients
• Communicate with clients to provide sufficient information on projects, such as progress and cost
• In case of variations in contract, seek agreement
• Manage procurement schedules
• Monitor job costs and progress against budget
• Select sub-contractors and ensure they receive enquiries and tender packages
• Ensure required quality standards are achieved at minimum cost by overseeing methods and outputs
• Ensure compliance with regulations and obtain client sign-off in case of any variations
