As a Media Sales
Manager, you will play a key role in revenue generation across business units
in Dubai, Jordan, Turkey and USA. Key to this role is initiating, developing
and maintaining relationships to drive regional financial targets for Orient
Media Group, this includes management of both the B2C (Community) and B2B
(Advertiser/Partner) sides of the business.
Core Responsibilities:
• Establishing, building and developing the Media Sales function including creating policies and procedures, setting KPIs and managing the team's performance.
• Accountable for driving the Annual & Monthly Sales Targets.
• Prospecting clients for advertising
• Assisting with commercial policies (revenue, costing, sponsorships)
• Assisting with Social Media campaigns and planning special marketing events.
• Market sizing and forecasting
• Market segmentation and prioritisation
• Definition of Consumer and Business value proposition based on customer and market insights
• Influencing and negotiation skills with both internal and external business stakeholders.
• Product segmentation - development of solutions for partners with diverse business needs from SME, large advertising media agencies, media resellers and carriers.
• Partnership engagement / recruitment strategy - including integration of social media into partner media mix, agency and media buyer liaison
• Mass market sales strategy - definition of sales infrastructure to support medium - long range needs of the product
• Establishing relationships with existing local sales channels, resellers and distributors to maximise revenue and new sales opportunities.
• Support account management to on-board new clients and act as the nexus between clients and advertising operations.
• May be required to travel to other locations including Jordan, Turkey, Washington DC, etc.
• Additional duties as delegated by the manager and department head.
Managing People:
• Ensuring that HR policies and procedures are adhered to by all levels of colleagues.
• Supporting the recruitment and selection process to ensure the right candidate is hired.
• Managing the overall performance of direct reports and to a wider scope supporting the process to ensure it is accomplished by all other colleagues within the organization.
• Motivating and encouraging teamwork in order to achieve optimum performance and achieve targets.
