Progressive has been commissioned to
secure the services of a Contract Manager to be based in the Headquarters of a
major contractor in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Our client has a reputation as
a top-tier contractor across the Infrastructure, Construction, MEP, Facility
Management and Trading.
As the Head of Contract Manager, you will be degree qualified in a related subject which will be either Quantity Surveying, Construction Law, Civil Engineering or Law which is an requirement.
It would also be a distinct advantage to hold a respected chartership or membership such as RICS and MCIArb and be well versed in claims, delay analysis, EOT, change orders and variations.
It is essential that you have demonstrated a stable and long-term working background with other top-tier contractors and dealing with the main contracts on major construction projects such as high rise buildings, malls, hospitals, hotels, stadiums or substations.
You must be contractually very strong.
You must have at least 15 years experience in the industry
You must have at least 10 years at management level
You will be an expert in the field of construction claims and have shown capability to defend against claims on projects above $400million. Specifically, you must have displayed this experience on major projects for international companies in the GCC.
You may also be a Commercial Manager, Senior Contracts Administrator as well as a Contracts Manager.
