The Multi-Media
Reporter is responsible for generating original, balanced video and other
digital content for social media platforms in order to generate discussion with
the people of the Maghreb region. The Reporter creates content focused on a
variety of topics that would be appealing to the youth of the Maghreb region.

- Generating original video and other content with original sources and research. Content produced will focus on a variety of themes.
- Demonstrating a deep understanding of violent extremism and its effects and is able to convey effectively related local, regional, national, and international debates and issues.
- Ensuring all videos and other content are well organized, timely, balanced and compliant with MBN's Journalistic Code of Ethics.
- Complying with copyright restrictions in selecting and editing multi-media enhancements to the news, including still photos, graphics and audio files to accompany news text.
- Ensuring accuracy of facts, grammar and spelling prior to review for publication.
- Meeting deadlines.
- Creating engagement content (polls, lists, surveys) to complement videos and articles.
- Incorporating edits as provided by the Assignment Editor. Monitors news sources to keep informed of related regional and international news.
- Mastering use of online tools including WordPress, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
