Role Summary/Purpose: As a Senior Production Engineer, you will work
with customers, business units and GRC personnel in one of the following
areas:
- Understand carbonate formations and challenges associated with production operations and ability to convey technical challenges to technology development teams
- Develop technology solutions for implementing artificial lift, focusing on specification, deployment, operation and retrieval of artificial lift solution
Essential Responsibilities: As a Senior Production Engineer, you will:
- Translate customer challenges to technology opportunities
- Provide technical expertise to customers, business units and GRC colleagues in production engineering with a focus on carbonate formations in the Middle East Region
- Work with customers, business units and GRC colleagues to develop networks and establish partnerships to grow GE’s technical presence in the region
- Develop and apply novel technical solutions for stimulation and /or artificial lift in these reservoirs
- Develop and lead technical programs collaborating with customer, business unit and GRC colleagues
Qualifications/Requirements: Masters degree in Mechanical, Petroleum or Chemical Engineering or a related field
- At least ten years of relevant experience in oil and gas production engineering
