Purpose Objectivesnbsp
The Psychologist is responsible for the prompt provision of psychological assistance to beneficiaries. She is a key player in the continuous capacity building process of skills of the counselors and in the awareness set up by INTERSOS.nbsp
Responsibilitiesdutiesnbsp
1. Timely ensure reception of referred and selfreferred beneficiaries including but not limited to GBV survivors and children as per referral of INTERSOS or other protection actors high attention to the respect of standardsprinciples must be ensurednbsp
2. Provide a deep and detailed assessment of GBV cases or any other special cases through interview at the DC home visit or visit to other centers assessment should be timely provided to INTERSOS management within the 24 hoursnbsp
3. Develop a comprehensive program of psychological assistance when needed tailored on the specific individual needs of protection cases after a deep need assessment propose the provision of financial andor material assistance as per agreedupon criterianbsp
4. Timely refer cases to responsive service providers such as medical within the 72 h for sexual violence psychiatric and legal assistance timely coordination with all actors is essential including INTERSOS lawyer while referring information should be complete orally andor through the written reportnbsp
5. Provide technical support to INTERSOS counsellor on counseling techniques and approches and on any other relevant technical skills when requested and needed participate to capacity building and prevention activities as per request of INTERSOSnbsp
6. Regularly inform the DC Coordinator on the conditions of individual cases andor make prompt reports and bring to the immediate attention of the Coordinator any case of special needsnbsp
7. Provide orally and by reportsmatrix all required information for case management meetings to the SGBV counselor or the DC Coordinator timely and regularly redact case monthly and trend analysis reportsnbsp
8. Represent along with the DC Coordinator INTERSOS SGBV programme in meetings and other formal discussions as requirednbsp
9. Liaison with UNHCR NGOs local government authorities and other groups where requirednbsp
10. Any other task not here listed but related to INTERSOS interventionnbsp

Shehe should be a holder of Master Degree psychologynbsp

Fluent in both English and Arabicnbsp
Shehe should have excellent communication skills and the ability to cooperate with others as part of the teamnbsp
