The IMS Systems Engineer will be
involved in primarily supporting and enhancing the core Investment Accounting
platform - Eagle Investment Systems, with general responsibility for on-going
technical
progression and support of other existing investment systems whether
it be strategic or tactical within the IMS department.
Expert knowledge of the Eagle
application, specifically the STAR and PACE Data Model, OLAP reports,
Uploaders, Exporters, Message Streams, Panels, and strong business knowledge of
Investment Accounting, Performance and Back Office processes related to Eagle
are must-haves for this role. The candidate should demonstrate strong
problem-solving skills and be able to quickly investigate and solve technical
issues raised by the business.
The candidate will demonstrate a
willingness to build out his/her business knowledge in the general IMS world -
however Eagle Investment Accounting skills are 100% primarily required and will
support the vast majority of the work undertaken.

Key Accountabilities:
Support Senior System Engineers and
IMS Business Analysts in all technical areas related to Eagle and other
Investment Management Systems. Specifically:
- Eagle L2/L3 Support: providing
support to all internal business users of Eagle- Testing: Support for /
implementing Unit Testing, SIT, UAT of tactical and strategic enhancements to
Eagle and other IMS systems- Upgrade/Production: Environment Staging, Release
management and Production preparation and deployment- Support: Support of
complex interfaces between investment systems and all peripheral developments
related to investment systems and accounting
This role is ideal for an
experienced support analyst looking for a challenging and rewarding career in a

Profile
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree level (minimum
2:1) or Equivalent from leading academic institution- Relevant technical
qualifications (Eagle Star and Eagle Pace /PL SQL/basic Linux commands - other
technical certifications would be desirable)- Minimum Experience:- 5 years+ IT support
and development experience within the Eagle application- Preference for
Investment Accounting IT or top-tier Asset Management IT background will be
considered
Job-Specific Skills:
- Substantial experience of the
above systems in the capacity of a technical and support analyst- Business and
Technical English fluency- Strong attention to detail, communication, knowledge
sharing, analytical thinking, and problem solving
