PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
(ii) Installation, configuration and
technical support of Desktops & Business Applications (problem
detection, notification and resolution)
(iii) Execute and manage Backups,
retention schedule and vaulting of data.
(iv)Administration of Network
Security.
(v)Coordinate projects with other
branches, provide technical support for both LAN/WAN and internet
(vi)Documentation of all I.T.
activities as per Group Policies
JOB CONTENT
(i)Provide first-level support of
most I.T. Hardware and software including Broking application global.
(ii)Maintain a Critical calls log
for analytical purposes
(iii)Manage user accounts such as
passwords and file access privileges
(iv)Perform routine check of
networked resources (computers, printers, scanners, Servers, EPABX)
(v)Perform regular Corporate Data
Backup and maintain updated Backup logs.
(vi)Configure and provide technical
support for computers and networks.
(vii)Configure and provide technical
support for Scanners and faxes.
(viii)Maintain the LAN and PC's on
Active Directory domain.
(ix)Ensure staff adherence to Group
Corporate Data Policy, standards and procedures. Report any anomalies to Dubai
I.T.
(x) Provide feedback within the
Company to Dubai I.T. about common problems encountered by users.
(xi)Train users to use the network's
resources in adherence to Willis Corporate Data Policy.
(xii)Provide Technical support OR
liaise with vendor for Fire protection system (FM-200), Telephones, Door
Security System (Access Control/Proximity), Projectors, Presentation setups.
(xiii)Liaison with vendors.
(xiv)Coordinate with Dubai I.T. for
escalation of tasks/issues
